The oil pressure in the upper chamber of the piston rises, the flow valve closes, and the oil in the upper chamber pushes the stretching valve and flows into the lower chamber. Due to the existence of piston rod, the oil flowing from the upper cavity is not enough to fill the increased volume of the lower cavity, which mainly makes the lower cavity produce a vacuum degree. At this time, the oil in the storage cylinder pushes the compensation valve 7 and flows into the lower cavity for supplement. The throttle action of these valves plays a damping role in stretching the suspension.
      Since the stiffness and pretension of the spring of the stretching valve are larger than that of the compression valve, under the same pressure, the sum of the loading area of the stretching valve and the corresponding normal slot channel is smaller than the sum of the sectional area of the compression valve and the corresponding normal slot channel. This makes the damping force produced by the stretching stroke of the shock absorber is greater than that of the compression stroke, thus achieving the requirement of rapid damping.
